Entering In: The Prophetic Invitation to Co-Labor with God

The beginning of a new year brings with it countless voices declaring prophetic words, spiritual insights, and divine revelations. Yet amid this chorus of declarations, a fundamental question emerges: What are we to do with these words? How do we move beyond simply hearing to actually experiencing the fullness of what God has spoken?
Prophecy: Invitation, Not Prediction
There’s a critical distinction we must understand: prophecy is not about prediction. The prophetic voice doesn’t function like a spiritual fortune-teller, forecasting random events in your future. Instead, prophecy serves as something far more powerful—it's an invitation from God to co-labor with Him in what He has already declared.
Think of it this way: when the Spirit of God speaks prophetically, He's extending an opportunity for partnership. He's inviting you into the divine work He's already set in motion. The testimony of Christ is the spirit of prophecy, which means a life that truly testifies of Christ must agree—in spirit, soul, and body—with what God has already declared in His Word and by His Spirit.
This understanding transforms everything. Suddenly, prophetic words aren't passive predictions we wait to see fulfilled. They're active invitations requiring our agreement and participation.
The Danger of Dead Words
Without agreement, prophetic words become like New Year's resolutions—and we all know what happens to those. Studies show that 85% of resolutions are abandoned by January 21st. They become empty containers, good intentions with no substance, words without life.
Knowledge alone doesn't equal possession. You can hear a word, acknowledge it, even say "I receive it," but without agreement and action, you'll never see manifestation. The difference between hearing and experiencing lies in our willingness to align ourselves with God's declaration and then act accordingly.
The Call to Enter In
The Hebrew year 5786, corresponding to 2026, carries a profound prophetic declaration: Enter In! This isn't a casual suggestion—it's a divine invitation to come closer, to go deeper, to access what has always been available but perhaps not fully embraced.
The imagery is striking: the flame and the sword, representing the Spirit and the Word, restored to the mouth of God's house. We are that house. God dwells within us, and He's calling us to carry both His Spirit and His Word in our mouths, in our lives, in our daily walk.
This year speaks of access redeemed, the breath of God in the house of God. It's about the flame and the sword—Spirit and Word—working together. Like bells and pomegranates on the priestly garments, there's both sound and fruit, giftings and character, faith and resulting action, love and resulting obedience.
The Test of True Prophecy
Here's a crucial litmus test: if the letter of a word doesn't lead us to obedience to God's Spirit, that word is dead. Dead words produce dead works. True prophetic words always point us toward the testimony of Christ and lead us into deeper obedience.
Consider a practical example. Many people begin the year with a resolution to exercise. The typical approach is discipline—punishing the body, subduing it, dominating it through sheer willpower. But what if we approached it through the lens of spirit and word, flame and sword?
From a kingdom perspective, exercise becomes something entirely different. Instead of domination, we practice discipleship of the body to the spirit. Love rises up and declares, "I am fearfully and wonderfully made in His image. I delight to do Your will, O God." Exercise becomes not punishment but delight—a way to enrich the vessel for the whole God experience.
This is the mind shift that changes everything. We're choosing life over death, delight over drudgery, partnership with God over self-powered striving.
Ruling and Reigning in His Dominion
We're called to rule and reign in God's dominion, but perhaps we've misunderstood what that means. We don't need to keep begging for glory to rain down. The glory has already been deposited within us—it needs to reign outward, to manifest in the King's dominion through us.
Ruling well in His likeness has only one pathway: love. Loving God and loving others is the only way we truly reign in the King's dominion. Without this foundation, prophecy becomes mere entertainment, tickling ears and thrilling souls without producing transformation.
Where Are You?
Remember God's question to Adam in the garden: "Where are you?" God knew exactly where Adam was. The question wasn't for God's benefit—it was an invitation for Adam to observe his own position. Are you in or are you out? Are you connected or disconnected?
You might say, "I'm in Christ," but are you truly in? Are you in a connected relationship with God moment by moment, experiencing the restoration and redemption He's provided? Or are you still trying to get what you've already got?
The Flaming Sword and Full Access
In Genesis, God placed cherubim with a flaming sword to guard the way to the tree of life after sin entered the world. That flame and sword—representing Spirit and Word—guarded access to full fellowship with God, that face-to-face, breath-to-breath, daily connection and communion.
But here's the glorious truth: Christ declared, "I am the way." He redeemed our access. The "until" has come. The way Himself has opened the path past the flaming sword. As Ephesians 2:18 tells us, through Him we have access by one Spirit to the Father. John 14:6 confirms He is the way, the truth, and the life. Romans 5:1-2 speaks of our access by faith into this grace. Hebrews 10:19-22 assures us we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus.
The connection that was guarded is now available. We are sons and daughters of God, yet too often we live outside the house, begging for what's already inside our covenant. The invitation is clear: enter in.
Agreeing with God
When we agree with the Spirit of God and the Word of God, filling our mouths with speaking truth, He is revealed. As He is, so are we in this world.
This year marks a set time for entering into what is judicially ours. The way has come. The access has been redeemed. The question is: will we accept the invitation? Will we agree with God and step fully into the connection He's restored?
The prophetic word for this season isn't just information—it's invitation. It's an opportunity to co-labor with God in His declared purposes, to enter all the way into the fullness of the relationship He's made available through Christ. The flame and the sword, the Spirit and the Word, are restored to the mouth of His house.
The question remains: Where are you? Will you enter in?

Join us live each day for a video and/or devotional post during the first 21 days of January 2026.

<div class="sp-subsplash-holder" data-source="cc3p66t" data-title="ENTERING IN! 21 Days of Inspiration January 2026 with Drs. The old has passed away, and everything has become new. This isn't just a slight improvement of our old selves, but a complete transformation. Today, meditate on what it means to no longer live for yourself, but for Christ who died for you. How does this new identity change the way you view yourself and others? Ask God to help you see yourself and those around you through His eyes of love and grace.

Day 2: The Constraining Love of Christ Reading: Romans 8:31-39 Devotional: Paul speaks of the love of Christ that "constrains" us. This isn't an external force holding us back, but an internal motivation propelling us forward. God's love is not just a feeling, but a powerful force that shapes our actions and decisions. As you read today's passage, consider how God's unconditional love for you impacts your daily life. Are there areas where you're still living as if God's love is conditional? Pray for a deeper revelation of His love that will constrain you to live fully for Him.

Day 3: Living in the Spirit Reading: Galatians 5:16-25 Devotional: Our new life in Christ is empowered by the Holy Spirit. We're no longer bound by the law of sin and death, but freed to walk in the Spirit. This passage contrasts the works of the flesh with the fruit of the Spirit. As you read, reflect on areas in your life where you're still struggling with the flesh. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you "crucify" these areas and to produce His fruit in your life. Remember, this is not about striving in your own strength, but yielding to the Spirit's work within you.

Day 4: Embracing Our Heavenly Citizenship Reading: Philippians 3:12-21 Devotional: Paul reminds us that our citizenship is in heaven. While we live on earth, we're called to set our minds on things above. This doesn't mean we ignore our earthly responsibilities, but that we approach them with an eternal perspective. How might your daily decisions and interactions change if you constantly remembered your heavenly citizenship? Ask God to help you live as an ambassador of His kingdom, bringing His love, justice, and grace into every situation you encounter today.

Day 5: Overcoming in Suffering Reading: Romans 5:1-5 Devotional: Suffering is an inevitable part of life, but as believers, we have hope even in our trials. Paul teaches that suffering produces perseverance, character, and hope. This doesn't mean we seek out suffering, but that we can trust God to use it for our good and His glory. Reflect on a current challenge you're facing. How might God be using this to develop your character and deepen your hope? Pray for the strength to endure, the wisdom to learn, and the faith to see God's hand at work even in difficult times.

Yet, as believers, we are called to embrace a profound truth: we are new creations, transformed by the power of God’s love and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
The concept of being a “new creation” isn’t just a nice spiritual idea – it’s a radical reality that should revolutionize how we view ourselves and the world around us.

The Apostle Paul, in his letter to the Corinthians, boldly declares: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

But what does it truly mean to be a new creation? It’s far more than a simple improvement or upgrade of our old selves. It’s a complete transformation – a discarding of everything that once defined us apart from Christ. We’re not called to put our old nature on a back shelf; we’re meant to throw the whole book away.

This transformation is rooted in the profound truth of Christ’s death and resurrection. When Jesus died on the cross, He didn’t just die for us – in a very real sense, He died as us. From an eternal perspective, His death was every person’s death. His obedience canceled the guilty verdict that hung over humanity since Adam’s fall. When Jesus uttered “It is finished” and breathed His last, it was truly the final breath of the old Adamic nature.

The implications of this truth are staggering. We no longer have to be defined by our past, our struggles, our perceived successes or failures. Our true life is hidden with Christ in God (Colossians 3:3). We’ve been raised to new life with Him, and our primary citizenship has been transferred to the heavenly kingdom.

This new reality calls for a radical shift in our thinking and living. We’re urged to “set our minds on things above, not on earthly things” (Colossians 3:2). This doesn’t mean we become disconnected from the world around us, but rather that we view everything through the lens of our new identity in Christ.

One of the most beautiful aspects of this new creation reality is the constraining power of Christ’s love. The Apostle Paul writes that “the love of Christ constrains us” (2 Corinthians 5:14). This isn’t a restrictive force holding us back, but an internal motivation propelling us forward. It’s the difference between grudgingly following a set of rules and joyfully living out our true identity in Christ.

Consider the contrast between constraint and restraint. Restraint is an external force holding us back from what we want to do. Constraint, on the other hand, is an internal desire aligning our will with God’s. It’s the difference between saying, “I want to do this, but I can’t,” and “I have no desire to do anything contrary to God’s will because of who I am in Christ.”

This new life in Christ also transforms how we view others. We’re called to no longer regard anyone from a worldly point of view (2 Corinthians 5:16). The labels and categories we once used to define people – race, social status, past mistakes – fade in importance compared to the reality of Christ in them. We’re all brothers and sisters, united in our new identity.
Living in this new creation reality doesn’t mean life will always be easy. In fact, we’re told that we will face tribulation as we enter the kingdom of God (Acts 14:22). But even in the midst of trials, we can have peace knowing that our true life is secure in Christ. Like Jesus sleeping peacefully in the storm-tossed boat, we can rest in the assurance of God’s promises and presence.

One of the most challenging aspects of embracing our new identity is silencing the voices of accusation – both external and internal. We must learn to quiet our souls and let the Spirit have governance in our lives. This involves bringing our thoughts into compliance with God’s truth and resisting the temptation to dwell on imaginations that contradict our new reality in Christ.

The beautiful truth is that in Christ, we have a guilt-free conscience (Nulla conscire sibi in Latin). It conveys the idea of freedom from any wrongdoing or consciousness of guilt. We are “unimpeachable” in our new standing before God. The old has truly passed away, and we no longer need to be defined by our past failures or shortcomings.

As we grow in our understanding of these new creation realities, we’re called to be “pollinators” in the body of Christ – people who strengthen, encourage, and help establish others in the truths of the Gospel. Just as bees and birds are essential for the flourishing of the natural world, so too are believers who carry and spread the life-giving truths of our identity in Christ.

Embracing our new creation reality isn’t about striving to become something we’re not. It’s about living from the truth of who we already are in Christ. It’s a journey of discovery, of peeling back the layers of old thinking and allowing the Spirit to reveal the glorious reality of Christ in us.

As we step into this new life, may we be filled with wonder at the vastness of God’s love and the completeness of His work in us. May we live with the joyful assurance that we are truly new creations, no longer bound by the limitations of our old nature, but free to live in the fullness of Christ.

Let us encourage one another with these truths, reminding each other daily of our true identity. For in Christ, we are not merely improved versions of our old selves – we are entirely new creations, born of the Spirit, citizens of heaven, and bearers of God’s own nature. This is the glorious reality we are called to embrace and live out each day.

All books are available FREE if you cover the shipping costs!
As seasons change and travel ministry takes us across the globe more frequently, we have decided it is time to pack lighter! To that end, we are no longer carrying books with us as we visit your local churches and speak at various Bible schools and special meetings.

These resources were always intended to reach people with the Word of God. Books, like media of all forms, help us to develop the maturing Body of Christ in the ways of God’s Kingdom. With that in mind, we have decided to clear out our warehouse in Florida of the storage of our books! We have been distributing them book by book as internet orders came in or as we traveled to speak, but we would like to get more into the hands of believers all over the world as the Lord supplies larger avenues of distribution. We invite you to be part of this mission.

For the simple cost of shipping (and any special packaging, if needed), we are generously making these resources available by the case to individuals, churches, outreach ministries, schools, libraries, etc., who desire to put them into the hands of those who will benefit from the teachings, inspiring and motivating them in their faith journey.

So, if you would like a case or several shipped to you, please get in touch with us by email, and we will make the needed shipping and payment arrangements. If you have connections with schools, outreach ministries, like prison ministries, recovery houses, or evangelistic outreaches, Bible schools, etc., please reach out to them and let them know these resources are available to them for only the cost of delivery.

This offer is good only through November 2025! So don’t miss out! Act now, and please take action this week to reach out to those in your circle of acquaintances to see if these resources would bless them. After November 2025, we will no longer house our books locally, and they will only be available through online retailers until the publishers’ supplies are exhausted. In December, any remaining books will be disposed of to free up resources for new books and emerging seasons! This special availability is a limited-time offer, so act quickly to secure your free resources.

And last (but not least),
we have new improved methods for communicating!

Events, SMS text notifications, and email communications have been upgraded!

As we noted above, we’re thrilled to announce that both the app and the website will soon become our primary platforms for all our communications, including livestreaming. This means you’ll have instant access to our events and updates, all in one place. What’s more, we’ve shifted our email communications from Mailchimp to our own ministry app, making it even easier for us to stay connected!

Rest assured, we understand the importance of a clutter-free inbox. We typically send emails only a few times a year, ensuring you stay informed without feeling bombarded. However, if you’re not on our contact list, you might miss out on some crucial ministry updates. So, we encourage you to connect through the website or the app and update your contact information. You can easily unsubscribe at the bottom of any email communication.

Additionally, if you choose to, you can now receive an SMS text notification when a newsletter or event is available - just be sure to opt in for SMS on the Connect & Contact Page. If you receive our initial SMS text greeting (or any other) and do not wish to receive future SMS, simply text back the word STOP to be removed. (By the way, speaking of texting, we also have text-to-give on the app. To get started with that service, first visit the Giving page on the website for instructions.)

We have a full ministry schedule for the next three months and are looking forward to seeing many of you as we travel. If we don’t see you along the way, we will connect again with our annual report of the ministry, which we call our victory report, in January.

Thank you for taking the time to celebrate these tools for increased reach with the Gospel of God’s Kingdom. Order your books, download the app, check out the website, and then let us know how you like the new tools and how we can agree with you in prayer for the coming years.

Committed to God to be helpers of your joy,

Drs. I’m Dr. Michelle (Pearson) Everett, and prayer walks, actually, prayer hikes ARE my day job!

Yes, you read that right. I have the most awesome calling as an adventure chaplain. I am a full-time minister, mountain-taker by day and publishing concierge for other speakers and ministers by night. No matter what venue the Lord intersects our paths, most people find that God uses me to be a catalyst for change! I would absolutely LOVE for you to join me on these amazing spiritual expeditions that we call… great faith adventures!

I teach it this way: “Transformation precedes promotion. Revelation always precedes transformation. It is the disciplined life of prayer that opens the gates to see and hear the revealed Word of God.”

So, who is this for? My prayer partners and spiritual expedition teams are comprised of all kinds of folks in all ages. Since 2012, we have had ladies of all ages hook up and train for prayer walks, prayer hikes, higher mountain expeditions, and other great faith adventures with me! (So, don’t use the excuse that you are too old!) We also have groups, churches, Bible study and work groups, men and women, and even whole families who join as pray-ers and stayers – who never accompany me physically, but who are every bit as invested in the spiritual journey as the hikers themselves.

We have financial partners who are Kings and senders – these precious gifts equip me to do what WE are called to do in the Kingdom of God. I could not complete the tasks and the call without my senders!! God is my provider, to be certain! But He does equip through the gifts of and in people!

We have authors and speakers who come along to minister to the ladies in special sessions, or who come along to spend some mountain time writing or for study sabbaticals; we have others who come along to be team helpers and to handle transportation of the hiking teams; we have people who walk, people who hike, and people who do neither. But everyone contributes to the success of the mission.

Though He sometimes sends me to hike alone, no matter where my assignment leads, it always takes a team, a tribe if you will, because that is the Biblical design of fellowship! It takes all gifts and graces, all the joints of The Body, to answer the call to be on God’s prophetic and intercessory prayer team. And He chose YOU as part of His team!

“God delights in His children stepping out over the aching void with nothing under their feet but the Word Of God!” ~ Lilian B Yeomans

How did this begin for me?

I was fasting, praying, and coaching some wellness clients during a New Year's Bootcamp in 2012 when the Lord first called me to begin to hike and pray. And God did not start small!
The first Expedition He asked me to train for was the tallest free-standing mountain peak in the world! Yes, in 2013, I had the grand pleasure of hiking Mt Kilimanjaro with God.TV--a faith journey of epic proportions! (Mt Kilimanjaro Video is here.) While in training for Mt. Kilimanjaro, I hiked Pikes Peak twice in 2012, once with Operation Mobilization and once as a solo trek in the snow on Thanksgiving Day!

In 2014 and 2015, the Lord allowed me to begin leading our own expedition teams on amazing trips to Pikes Peak in Colorado. More than just mountain climbs, the teams spend a tremendous 6-month period together training and developing faith, hope, and love, Spirit, soul, and body! For 2015, as you can see in the video below, the Lord expanded the vision so that several additional folks joined as Base Camp members to pray and transport.

With a team of 11 on the ground in 2015, we prayed over 700 hours for our nation, the nations, our cities, families, and friends, and for all those along the way who need the love of our great God. And then we stepped it up even higher…
Because Love Asked.

The following year (2016), our teams were professionally coached in wellness and nutrition while they covered this nation in more than 2400+ hours of prayer, took 4800+ miles of prayer walks, read through the NT twice, plus completed six additional life-enriching, vision-building, character-developing studies!

Also in 2016, we expanded to two powerful prayer expeditions. The first was to the Great Smoky Mountains with the whole team. The second, Team #OnPurpose, was a prayer team of hundreds, perhaps thousands, globally, praying 127 days, July 4th through November 8th, for peaceful elections in the USA, for the honor of our nation, the peace of Israel, and the manifest Glory of God.

The culmination of these days of prayer was a 10-day, 100+ mile prayer hike! This was the longest, most challenging journey to date physically, but the years prior had prepared me for such a time as this. Supported by the amazing prayer team and senders, the Lord ordered my steps to take the 107-mile journey alone, joined only in Spirit to my faithful partners and triple-crown team! Yes, that is right, I hiked the 107+ miles physically alone in the mountains of Virginia, praying – and yes, that is a miracle for this girly-girl of comforts. But the bears, mice, and miles were no match for the grace of being in the perfect will of God! Because Love asked.

Love asked something else of me on this long hike alone with God. Love asked me to open my heart again. Extraordinary things, supernatural things, can and do happen when we join the Lord for great faith adventures… And that is a story for another day.

There is a price to pay to do the will of God, but that price is never greater than God’s grace. ~ Mrs. Oretha Hagin

Our themes for all of the hikes are #OnPurpose, #Indivisible, and #JourneyOn! We continue to pray for that individually, corporately, nationally, and globally, knowing that complete victory is possessed as we are reconciled in Christ, as we walk as Christ, loving those along the way… because Love asked. We will also be praying that individually, corporately, nationally, and globally, for the possession of the undivided heart. Therein lies the possession of every fulfilled promise.

In 2017, #LittleSister (my AT trail name) experienced many God-breathed changes, one of which was the prophetic Word of God that changed my trail name to… #Blaze. As the Lord declared my trials (and trails) to be those of a “prophetic pioneer,” He reminded me through the wisdom of my mentor, Dr. Clarice Fluitt, that it is the prophetic voice of Christ that heals the wounded Body of Christ.

#Expedition2017 culminated in a 21-day prayer expedition between November 1 and 21. The Lord directed my steps to cover many locations in the Ozark Mountains – America’s heartland – the highest points in Arkansas (Mt. Magazine) and Missouri (Taum Sauk Mountain in the Saint Francois Mountains). Teams of all ages and interests walked and hiked with me to pray and intercede for loved ones, salvation, deliverance from addictions and destructions, redemption from wrong choices and harmful paths, as well as peace for our country and its purpose and place on the international landscape.

Those high points made our first 3 State summits and the highest elevations our teams had completed so far. (The first was in May 2016 at Clingman’s Dome, Tennessee – an extraordinary highpoint story of answered prayer in itself!) As the various teams joined me, we took to the mountains for prophetic and intercessory prayer, specifically to pray these areas: #Redeemed #Reconciled #Restored #Renewed.

What’s next? Beginning with those first few high points, a high prayer vision began to unfold! #Expedition2018 was the beginning of a very big assignment! One that will continue for several years! Our current assignment positions us in prophetic and intercessory prayer on the high points of all 50 states! We will be declaring the Kingdom of God IS COME, praying for peace in our national elections, and praying for sweeping floods of reconciliation, declaring our #Indivisible position in Christ.

As of 08/01/2025, we have prayer hiked declaring #GodsKingdom has come on top of the highest elevations of 37 states, plus Washington, DC!! We have 13 more to go.
The most physically and mentally challenging summits are ahead of us. BUT GOD IS FAITHFUL TO EQUIP US! He has called out this band of Believers to give voice to this mission. WE WILL PREVAIL! Please join your faith and declarations from The Word with these Great Faith Adventures!

We completed great faith adventure prayer trips every year from 2012 to 2024! The 2020 trip was more than 6700 miles, six high points, and lots of training on one epic road trip! The 2023 trips far exceeded that with nearly 10,000 road miles and 7 highpoint attempts.

I took the years 2024-2025 off from expeditions to be a caregiver for my folks in Missouri, but got in many miles of walking in the Ozark mountains while I was serving God by serving my parents. And, now with their care stabilized, there are more prayer expeditions to come! The remaining HPs are not a walk in the park. BUT where the Spirit of The Lord is, there is freedom, there is liberty! As we summit the highest elevation of each state, the Spirit of the Lord is there declaring freedom and the Kingdom of God.

How can you participate in your own great faith adventure? If you are interested in being a part, please let me know by emailing me from the contact page! Training is online and in your local area and will begin as state teams are formed, and will continue year to year as we complete the highpoint prayer assignments.

The question is now… what gifts and graces will you allow Love to use for this adventure in faith?

I am calling in the prayer walkers, casual hikers, day hikers, or backpackers, a transport team, the senders, and basecamp pray-ers. This is God’s call to reconciliation. You want to have a part in this.

I am fully persuaded this is a set time of harvest, the time when the reaper overtakes the sower. And we will be praying that with every obedient step.

I went on the 2016 long-distance expedition by myself. I would be incredibly blessed to have some of you with me, walking physically alongside me this time as I cover every US state. If not physically, can I invite you, even implore you, to come alongside in whatever way He leads you to?

We have committed to answering His call. Will you? Check your heart and ask God what part HE wants you to have in these great faith adventures!

The equipping is in the command.

Come! Let us rise together to high places! ~ Dr. Michelle a.k.a #Blaze
